Never met a member of any religion in this country that was in the slightest bit offended by Christmas. The only people it bothers are meritocracy-dodging council and quango employees with more time than work.

I always knew you were a closet Thatcherite.........

Also cannot get on the train to get to and from work, as they are full of piss artists in fancy dress going to/from/between parties that nobody really wants to go to, hosted by people who would rather be at home watching old rubbish on the TV.

Perhaps we should have a feast of Saint Sealine; a special day when we all down tools to worship the patron saint of form and function? /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Yep, agreed. When we get fed up of Christmassy food, we order a takeaway Indian. Said nosh (excellent) is delivered by man in Indian attire....delivering a Christmas card inside the goodies.

Fair play to 'em!

Re: Oldgit revealed

Peace n Luv man.

"Perhaps we should have a feast of Saint Sealine; a special day when we all down tools to worship the patron saint of form and function?
Wot you really mean to say is "a triumph of fashion over function."
Word on the street is that somebody mentioned the word Marine Architect and they had to do a Google to find out what the word meant, and then had to go and have a little lie down somewhere. Its not fair, nobody told em that boats are supposed to be used on water./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
Ps.This post does not under any circunstances apply in the case of Suncoast who has impecable taste in boats.
