I hoping someone on here can clarify if the manufacturers quoted inside diameter of an oil seal is the actual inside diameter or the applicable shaft size. Obviously the seal needs to be slightly smaller than the shaft. Lots of very good manufacturers websites out there but I cant find that vital piece of info.
