Hi peeps, in my spring clean I've fixed one gauge but clearly knocker a wire or something else and the Oil guage is flicking and staying at around zero. Anyone please tell me where the sender is so that I can fiddle! 5.7L Efi Mercruiser.

Cheers!

Good, thanks for that.
Was gonna look.
Got a Binny up the drive with same eng.
It's peeing down so that's saved me a drenching!

It won't start.
The power steering pumps knackered.
The owner wants to go afloat Thursday.
Looks like tommorow will be busy.

PM Me your postcode please
Case I need some bits /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ash1. I've just purchased the Diacom PC version. Express from the states, given I'm going to service my boat for a bit from now on it'll be a valuable addition. Anyone near HYS Universal want their engine stats checked feel free to buy me a beer and we'll plug it in /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Looks like you will be having hours of pleasure, tinkering, and you will probably find that you have a lot of new friends who want there engine hours checking,By having my scan tool i found out that my engine was not original, the hour meter showed 250hrs,when i plugged the meter in it was showin 139hrs so after a little investigation and checking original bill of sale it turned out it was re-engined in about 2002,
They are a usefull bit of kit,
Have fun

Have you ordered all the differant leads, they seem to cover quite a few differant makes of engine, not just mercs,
you will soon recover that, the first time you have a problem, our marina didnt have any diagnostics for mercs, thats why i bought it,when my fuel pump broke but still ran,i saved the 1hr min.they would have charged me for diagnosing the problem
In the overall scale off boating costs £400 aint that bad
