As my old gauge has given up the ghost, I've just fitted a new matching sender and oil pressure gauge to my Thornycroft T95.The oil pressure is now reading some 10psi higher than before and I dont know which is correct, or for that matter if its OK !.
So, if anyone has a Mitsubishi S4L 1500cc 4cyl base engine fitted .... eg Vetus M4.15 or the Thornycroft T95 and I imagine a few others ... I'd be interested to know what oil pressure they are getting when ...
1) Cold and ticking over
2) Hot and ticking over
3) Hot and under load
( I'm now showing 55, 40, 50 psi
