Trolling over to Lymington 3100 on sbd engine and 3300 on port. This because sbd gives black smoke > 3000 rpm.
Sbd engine stopped so proceeded on port. The bilge is full of oil and none on dipstick! Appears to have come from vent near the breather filter.
What can cause this?

I had a similar problem recently shortly after getting both engines serviced. It turned out to be a failed seal on the oil filter. Luckily the oil pressure alarm sounded and I switched off the engine immediately. I was totally shocked when I saw how much oil was in the bilge.

Had this on a 74p blocked breather

Reconditioned turbos fitted two years ago, aftercooler fine. Suspect some sort of fuel problem
Sounds like you may have more than just one problem.
From what I understand, the black smoke issue was evident prior to the oil dumping ?
Is the engine starting again?
If it is, I,d choose a fine flat day with clean engine and bilges and oil topped up.
Go for a spin with all the boards etc up, and with a clear all round view of your stbd engine.
Two man job really, one helming and one watching. A powerful flashlight is helpful. Oil leak should become obvious. At the same time, the engine will have plenty of circulating air, air starvation being another possibility regarding the smoke.
If the black smoke persists, I,d be looking at injectors & pump.
ps Sure it,s black smoke - not blue ?
