Plan?

The plan is now set, sort of, and in tradition that is true, has changed completely from the original, mainly due to Levington's crane being booked until May 2010, and my lack of advance planning.

Pdream is now staying in the Bradwell area until early May (date TBA following chat with C&C people next week). Now driving up to Shotley Saturday am to throw the sails onto Mr.T, provided :

The kiwi goes on ok (tomorrow ?)

AND

They get her in the water (weather dependent clearly)

AND

They get the engine recommissioned ok.

IF all that happens, then will take her out for a spin Saturday with the possible plan then falling into place of bringing her down to Bradwell Sunday. At the moment, the wind / weather and tides seem to be okay. If get to Bradwell on Sunday then would shift Pdream onto the swing mooring that Roger has found.

Too many If's, but's and maybe's by far.

This is why I haven't kept folk up to date, as weekends are getting scarce for everyone this close to the season, and its a lot of buggering around etc ......

Am I expecting too much for it all to fall into place ?????

Its a good plan

Just a tinkle here and there and it will be perfect.

Hope the guys have a nice time and that mr tinkles meets all expectations /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Fingers crossed Neil, and I have to say that Martin, one of the chaps in the workshop, has been excellent so far at getting things sorted. The plan above does involve having a car at both Bradwell and Shotley, and therefore lifts will be available both ways, if there are hands available who might wish to join in, and who aren't busy getting their own boats in order ......

Yep. Wind over tide the whole trip. Joy /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Was going to offer my services but have reconsidered as dont fancy a day motoring down Vomit ally (term used by one of the FC crew)

Enjoy your day chaps think there should be a T shirt to mark the day with a slogan my suggestion!

"I SPENT THE DAY SLAMMING ON MR TINKLES" /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Should be back in the water at Brightlingsea about HW on Sat and was thinking about a shakedown up the coast to Harwich & show you the way back.

With the forecast suggesting both ways would be wind over tide I now think this is a stupid plan!

Still I suppose I would be able to seek out all those annoying jingles and tinkles you get when bashing to windward.

Have you got the A team with you for the trip?
