Thought you might like to see whats in me shed at the mo. Mikado, 1904 Fife, just in, and Gluckhauf 1926 30sqM just about to go out. They shared the shed for only a week or so, but they looked so nice together I thought I would take a pic for you forumites.

How much shed jealousy can a man take? All I have in my shed is 4 bicycles, a lawn mower, and some tools abandoned by the builders before christmas, for their return in the new year "when the weather improves" (if ever), several rusty tins of paint, and half a table tennis table. I like your shed better.

They are both about 40' LOA, Mikado weighs in at 6.45T, and Gluck at about 2.5T.
I am always suprised at how different boats are for the same length! Simple really, but I still easily suprised!

Another bit of trivia..........

In 2009, Mikado came 8th OVERALL at Cowes Week (Black Group), out of 900 ish

and FIRST in class 6.

Not bad for a 106 yr old, competing against carbon and kevlar!
