Just opened today's mail , a plain white envelope to find a Shotley marina brochure , we only stayed there a couple of nights this year
But guess what caught my eye - a nice shot of a certain boat , "Phoenix of Hamble" right there on front cover , ooo yr famous now

we binned ours, far too expensive to be there even with the static display area

Do you think we'd get a discount if they swapped the 'static display area' for a scrapyard and maybe put a sewage farm nearby?

Or possibly even better, lifted the whole marina and moved it another hour from open sea?

Thats not a marina - its a dichotomy. Oysters and Scrappies. Hmm.

Well we got rid of those trawlers, gained good food & beer at reasonable prices,
managed 1300 mls so far is this years poor weather.
Guess one cant have it all

And we'd need a lock too - wouldn't be a proper place without a lock.
