Parcel arrived after lunch....new MoBoChat burgee and bottle of Solly Bolly.......thanks Haydn.
Cant wait to get down to boat to start fuel improvement programme so have introduced a few drops of Solly into jam jar of cloudy diesel as extracted on Sunday.
Keep looking to see wots happening.......MUCH more exciting than watching paint dry or arguing over GOEL (gross overload equipment lists)....

Stick it in a dark place. Then put it through a fine mesh filter under normal pumped pressure conditions and watch the bits disintergrate.

I was hoping I was going to see this cloudy fluid become clear and best bitter like?
Sounds as if it be as boring as watching paint dry after all.
As for the various lew suggestions re my tights etc etc forget it.......I shall ask the lady next door if shes got a spare pair....that'll make her day.

Looks like a pint of the muck they drinks oop north.About three pee the gallon .

Cos if I made the plastic any more opaque than it is you wouldnt be able to see the liquid in the container or measuring cap.

Its now been approx 12 hours since you stuck the stuff in. They've had a healthy dose of UV. Which according to Dom gives the emzyms a nice tan. Then they went into the dark, still think the bugs are scared of it. Has it gone a pint o best clear or are we still talking cruddy coffee colour.........whats happened to it?

Sorry mate, the bugs and all were put un a dark place last night but that was at bedtime and theyve only just woken up to another day.
Not even you would expect them to stay up all night , would you?

Further bulletins will be issued as and when there is tangible information to promulgate. In the meantime I can report that the diesel sample is still in the jar and has not decreased in volume....cant see if its gone clear or not........Dom was most insistent that it should be kept in the dark.........

Spill the beans, its not the bugs in the dark its us!! I don't think theres anything in that bottle 'cept white spirit. You've been done mate, tucked up like a kipper. They saw you coming. So what your saying really is that either You're scared of the dark and won't go down into the cellar or its done bugger all in the time that its been in there......right! Oh by the way, my printers buggered, needs new print head, canon jobby where could I get one sort of now'ish.

Well, I'm not vindictive so try Sweethaven (woodhatch nr Reigate) ior ring Canon head office (also in Reigate) or ring PC world (dunno where nearest for you but Crawle and Guildford) and see if they got it.
Anyway, how do you know its the print head? could just be the operator...../forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Tried sweethaven, haven't got one, I bought the printer from canon direct and they're as useful as a chocolate fireguard. The others, don't swear at me! If your gonna be like that.....I want my heated rollers back........I', not gonna let you play wiv my tools to drill holes in your tank.........and I'll tell Bogbrush his having a bad hair day.............
