Forget the boat for the time being, concentrate on the positive side of regaining your health, as a four year "clear" I understand where you are coming from, but things will take a turn for the better I am sure. NIL CARBERUNDUM

Oh well, looks like an extended stay followed by going home on intravenous feed for the foreseeable future. Intestines are buggered by all accounts, long term rest may heal but no guarantees unfortunately.
A further opp would be unwise as it stands.
Not sure how viable going out on boats is going to be, going anywhere without planning will be a nightmare, lots to think about.
Still better to be here for kids etc. than the alternative.
