Rapidly heading to paraffin budgie time again and I really can't wait to get back to the boat! With the £60 a night moorings eating into my budget, I'm out of ibiza town marina ASAP! I need to repair this anchor winch, the motor for it, ordered 2 months ago and sent five weeks ago, arrived in Portugal last night!! Oh! well, It has to now go back to the UK, then be hand carried by my brother to Palma. I will be up in Puerto Pollensa by then! But I need to move the boat there on my own, I'll just do it in two hops, or very early one morning and motor at best speed all the way! Thanks for all the informative posts and I hope I've been of some help to some of you, it'll be a month or so before I'm back on here, but will try and pick up any PM's for me. Bye, everybody, fair winds, clean diesel, cold beer and have a good time on the water!! By the way, this is my 2000th post aswell, time to retire!!

Things just aren\'t the same nowadays

In my day, it was 2 weeks on and one off and then be on standby on the beach. None of this woossy few days on and 3 weeks off!!... ;o))

Have a great leave, Colin, and thanks very much for all your help again. I'm going to take a trip down to Tollesbury to see these engines as I'm getting desperate now. How any help you get is better behaved this time.
