Off Troon Today

I spotted her today from quite a few miles away. I was interested to know what size the yacht is on board so been googling, came up with this
"Le Grand Bleu has a 74-foot sailboat and a 67-foot speedboat stored on her aft deck. She also makes room for a helicopter. The interior of Le Grande Bleu was designed by Terence Disdale. Le Grande Bleu has a crew of 50".

just ask Google !!!!

Was this boat siting in the docks at Greenock over the weekend near the sugar buildings?

As we drove past on Friday night and again Sundayat about 14.00 could see a very large yacht from the road but it would have appeared to be siting very high and the above picture suggest why. There was a ships supperstructure to the front of the yacht.

What I do not understand is if pic taken Sunday 23rd where did the blue skies come from????

Not the same as it was definetly on the back of Big Blue on Sunday morn at Troon. I also saw the large mast from the road last Thursday night at Greenock docks and there were lights on at every spreader it certainly was very high but they are on super yachts.

So where did the blue skies come from? Sunday Morning Rothesay and trip over to Kip the only blue to be seen was my sprayhood and sail cover.

Does Troon get different weather or does the sun only shine on the wealthy??
