Off to Nice

good luck!

I hope you do have a decent toolbox with you, a few spare bilge pumps and yards of wire, crimps, etc AND company to give a helping hand!
FWIW (not much at all!), weather down here is lovely water temp 28-29 and sunshine

cheers

V.

Today is just handover - out and back in a day.

Delivery trip kicks off on the 7th. Friendly engineer is coming and putting together the tool kit. Will also have two very experienced friends with me. Just hope the weather naffs off

OK,

expect a delivery trip thread then ;)

from my experience (ok, not typical s/h boat case...) I'd value tools, spares and experienced helping hands much much higher than food and alcohol, so stock wisely :p
I still remember the first 4h of MiToS in the water in Athens with me frantically trying to sort out strainers leaks (with stuck seacocks...) and then rewiring and plumbing the cabin bilge pump to the heads sink in order to avoid sinking in the marina, nice...

Good luck. It's been a long and difficult time coming so I hope the boat meets your every expectations and you have many happy sea miles in her.

Best wishes.

Collecting the keys should be a highlight only to be beaten by the thrill of casting off.

Photos and video will be expected!

You haven't met the crew.

Without the latter the former might not turn up :o
LOL, I sympathize with your crew.
Give Vas time... As soon as he will be 100% done with Mythos (i.e. pretty soon surely), he'll reconsider his priorities! :D
All the very best for the maiden voyage.
