We're just orf out onto the Gulf of Mex to watch some muscle boats roar around - 140mph jobbies. We'll probably get bored very quickly, but it's quite a thrill to watch for a short time. I'd love a ride in one - just once!

'fraid so, but not as bad as NASCAR! On second thoughts they have some spectacular crashes in NASCAR, which makes it a bit interesting.

We went out for about an hour but the mussels were so fast, we couldn't catch any. The 9 helicopters were entertaining, flying about 6ft above the boats. Prob not obeying any flying regs. Brightened our day by putting 200gal of petrol on board on the way home at cost of $375. In the past 4 weeks it's gone from $1.49/gal to $1.85/gal. Atrocious!!

Nothing to do w/the Arabs this time, Haydn. The blackout shut down umpteen refineries in the NE US last week and one in Arizona had a major fire.
