off racing this afternoon

in a beaneteau 40 - round the cans - not bothering with a weather forecast it's blowing force 6 from the ENE.
No wet weather gear, colision regs ferries and the buoys are back to front.

fantastic - bit disorganised - we stooged about waiting for the agreed start time at 14:20 and the others all went over the line at 14:10. Anyway we started and nearly caught them up. Brian's face was a bit taught as we rounded up a couple of times in the gusts and dunked the dicky seat on the stern with megs in it! Did a good time to the finish one and half hours - Jolly Harbour, round five islands and into the bay then back. On adjusted time we did pretty well against the racers, fantastic sailing
