I've got a Sea-me RTE and trying to add it to my ships radio licence. I've noticed there's two different options
Ship Radar Target Enhancer (Active) 2,900 to 3,100 MHz and 9,300 to 9,500 MHz
Radar Target Enhancer 2,900 to 3,100 MHz and 9,300 to 9,500 MHz
Now, I didn't think there was a passive RTE, rather just a reflector and they wouldn't need to be on the radio licence? I don't really know of any ship RTE vs leisure ones?
It probably doesn't really matter which one I put down but any idea which would be best? I'm thinking active because that's what it is.
