Oesenc charts on android opencpn problem

Hi

I am probably just not doing something right!

New Lenovo tablet. Opencpn, the paid one which is I think the right one.

Installed oesenc plugin v1. 7.0 and purchased uk charts.

The chart data seems to be there. Sort of. But zoomed out shows nothing.

I did read something about it having to build each chart. I have clicked on "Prepare all ENC Charts" . How long should this take?

I have fiddled with various display settings?

I have had raster charts on opencpn pc before which was fine.

Any pointers?
 
Ok more stuff emerging! I think it is converting the charts. But when i zoom out everything disappears! Its going to be like Team Vestas in the Firth of Forth!!!
 
Have you run OCPN with CM93 charts to determine whether it's the app or the chart set giving the problem? I have just updated to 1.0.16 on my Sony tablet and it runs CM93 without the problems you describe.

If it's the chart set, Hubert (login countercurrent) on bigdumboat forum should be able to sort it out as he is involved with o-charts. Otherwise, of course, Dave Register is your man!
