If anyone is interested in doing their Ocean Yachtmaster Theory, there is a course running at the Bristol School of Navigation over six Saturdays beginning on the 9th February.

I realise it is short notice but they’ve only just told me they are short on numbers and this may jeopardise them running the course. As it's taken me ages to find a localish course to book on hence I’d really like them not to have to cancel it. It’s an intensive course and includes the theory exam.

The fee has been reduced to £225 so it seems a deal for quite a lot of kudos at the yacht club bar and hopefully great fun.

You need to have your YM offshore theory.

They can be contacted here for more info:

Hi, I'm not sure from your post what the entry requirements are. I may be interested in attending, if I can.

Hi Allan

You need to have completed your Yachtmaster or coastal skipper theory course. (I believe they are both the same course.)

If you want to do it give the college a call ASAP as I believe they are making a go no go decision immenently
