Why have you gone there, I prefer Hythe, just wait untill the drunks are shouting and balling at all hours in the summer, better at Hythe apart from the waiting of the lock.

It was the lock that did it - sick of waiting for it!! Much prefer being able to get up and go, also for taking the RIB out. Don't mind the drunks - can sleep through anything!

Loved Hythe nmarina, it's where I bought my boat, would try and get a berth there, if I was to return to UK and the solent which is highly unlikely!

I would have thought that your circle of friends will expand very quickly if you tolerate drunks, most of the other berth holders for starters)

Hi Mark,
We are in Ocean Village, and find it a very pleasant place to be. Staff are friendly and access is 24 hours.
We are on berth C48 and proudly flying the burgee. Feel free to say hello if you see us.

im on B42 in OV, heard so many bad reports before moving there but have to say cant fault it one bit, great for M3 / m27 access, bars now not too bad as most have been knocked down / no lock / friendly...
