Good one there. I did my own spreadsheet last year, so I know how long it takes to handle all the calcs for local tide changes based on previous or subsequent days changes at the standard point.

Many thanks for that. 'Cos it was there I checked the SIPR tides - very neapy and about 6 hours out from the last few years. Foul from Oban to Salen and foul back down again. Could you change them, please?

[Edit - there's no or , so I assume there's a problem with my calculations (and six hours suggests my script might have flipped HW/LW); however, if this is a request to adjust when the ebb and flow happen to make it easier for your climbers then I suggest you appeal to the appropriate deity .. but it didn't do Canute any good (and yes, I know that it's apocryphal) ]

My apologies for lack of Unfortunately, your data agree with UKHO forecasts. As for my runners (definitely not climbers), they seem to appreciate the long hours of rest that being on a slow boat allows.
