Oak Veneered Plywood

Hi all,

I'm after a sheet of 12mm oak veneered plywood delivered to Ipswich.

Robbins seem to only have some funny sizes and are horrendously expensive for 1 sheet delivery!

Any ideas would be grateful!

Plywood sheet size is nominally 8' x 4' (2440 x 1220mm). Suppliers will also normally supply half and quarter sheets.

Hi, yes fully aware of the standard sheet size. Maybe I should have been clearer in that Robbins don't seem to do 12mm thickness. A full sheet is fine but I need 12mm.

Ideally 8ft x 2ft would be better as I only need to redo 1 cabin door.

I'm looking for any suppliers that may accommodate.

Try Ipwich plastics , they do veneered ply.

Their delivery charges look more reasonable.
They do oak faced ply in 12mm (one face only and only moisture resistant grade) or 13mm (both faces and WBP grade).
Prices on the website are for full sheets, but they may do smaller sizes.
They also do oak veneer which may be a better option for you.

I got a sheet 18mm from a local builders merchant, had to order it but it only took a few days. Probably not the cheapest way but as it was only one sheet it seemed the easiest.

I've only had paper backed veneer from them but service and delivery were good.
