Nylon bar, rectangle section

My seats are retained by nylon bar, approx 23mm by 15mm and 350mm long.

Does anyone know a source of white nylon bar?

I know I could do it in hardwood but it would not match everything else.

I think that would be cut from 15mm sheet. If not search for 5/8 by 7/8 which would be 15.8mm by 22.2mm.

Some metal places carry nylon, e.g metal supermarket.
There are often bits on ebay.

There's also Bay Plastics. www.bayplastics.co.uk. I got some Delrin from them recently and was happy.

Thanks, that shows the issue that I was having, its all in round bar, not rectangle. However I had not thought of getting sheet cut to create a bar

Are you sure it's nylon? If it is and is on a boat then it's probably Nylon 11 or Nylon 12 both have low swelling properties when wet. Hope this helps.

It is unfortunately 16mm thick (not 15mm) but they will cut it into strips if that is close enough.

Thanks, measurements were only approximate and I dont think based on the use that the dimensions are too critical
