Oh really freakin' timely is that!

I've only been bitching about the bloody things all summer long

They are utterly utterly stupid and pointless

The one in the Yokesfleet was right in my way trying to tack out of the anchorage forcing me to start the engine for 30 seconds to get around it

And the one in the Brankfleet, oh sorry "Quay Reach Anchorage", I very nearly hit in the depths of a dark dark night whilst upping anchor skedadling round to BYH in the face of an imminent gale warning

I haven't caught up with the HM in person to let her know what I think of them :disgust:

What's that last one, in Paglesham Pool, trying to tell us?? That we can't anchor? I'm not aware of any 'obstructions' there??

One of the members of the RSA has been anchored in Paglesham Pool for some years although her boat recently sank at her anchor and had to be recovered. And other members have used the Pool as a dinghy launching and storage facility from time to time. There are oyster beds further down Devil's Reach in the Roach on the Western side. Maybe the Oyster Farmer is going to move his stock to Paglesham Pool.
