The engineer who replaced our batteries has managed to conveniently lose the lid of our battery box after having to modify the actual box itself to accommodate replacement batteries... Although now finally strapped and secure, he assures me a lid is not required as we have AGM batteries fitted, will see what the inspector says as its due for exam shortly. That's some serious weather in that clip, sheesh!

You will still need terminal covers though if not already fitted, help to stop the terminals coroding and guard against shorting when you drop a spanner in the engine room, which is what the BSS man will be worried about.

Thanks Chris_d, I don't think he has bothered to fit terminal covers, had to badger him to secure tha batteries, but will check on the weekend.
