With 15 or so boats plus their senior clubmember owners absent from club you can just rock up for pie and a pint in the clubhouse and find out just whats its like to park in the best bits (AKA all the easy to moor bits close to the clubhouse) moorings on the pontoons and then get your dinner/beer quickly without having to stand at the back of the que in the bar.
