now on hurricane watch!!

Here in Trinidad we have been put on hurricane watch since 3pm yesterday with the main storm to pass north of us at 1pm today (local time) with high seas and winds expected upto 40mph we have secured the boat very well and removed all deck equipement. All this just about standard procedure in the uk.
I've been a bit more cautious just incase the wind is more and we are also on a floating dock which you never know how secure they are.
Lets cross fingers and hope we sustain NO damage.

Good luck, Chris! Presumably it's Earle that's passing and gaining strength before it hits the Yucatan later this week. We hope it doesn't head north to Florida!

We missed the worst of it, just having some very heavy rain and moderate winds. The fear is that it might follow the same track as the others!!!
