I own a Hunter 272 on a pontoon berth at Titchmarsh Marina and, although I enjoy singlehanded sailing, it's always good to have company. I can be available at any time but mostly prefer to sail during the week and would welcome crew of any ability level - including accompanied children. You can learn as you go and do as much or as little as you want. I have had 9 very different people sailing with me this year, for day sails or longer, and all have had a great experience.
Well equipped, safe, sea worthy yacht with which I'd tackle most passages, and her location enables us to be 'at sea' in half an hour or happily 'creek-crawling' up the many East Coast rivers. I am an easy-going, relaxed skipper and used to sailing with all abilities. Day sails or longer.
Private message me if you'd like to give it a try as a novice or if you are experienced and just 'boat-less' at the moment.
If anyone wants to tackle a longer, more challenging crewing opportunity - I am open to suggestions. I have had experience across the Channel to France, Belgium and Holland and know the West Coast of Scotland well. At some stage I am planning an extended cruise round UK to West Coast of Ireland.
