Work unexpectedly comes to a stop next week. Ordinarily I'd be panicking, looking for my next gig, but now I own a boat. This time I will be relaxed and use it as an opportunity for some cruising.
Trouble is, it's November...
Any tips for off season cruising? November always seems like winter, but anyone have any empirical data that says the weather isn't too bad for cruising?
Would probably stick to the south coast, but may do France or the Channel Islands.
Boat is a Fairline Targa 52
While not on a strict budget, keen to get the most from my money while taking a break. Rather than tear around at 28knots, anyone got any views on what is the most economic cruising speed for that boat? It has D12-675s in it.
Thank!
