Nova Panacea here at last - hope the photos come through!

Thank you all for your good wishes, and in response to the questions:

Hurricane: invite hopefully after our do this weekend and before you go back to St C.

Andie Mac: - couple of shots of inside, standard Nimbus Coupé layout where port side seat flips between forward and sofa.

They don't seem to be coming through!

Petem: if you recall the thread started by Hurricane a while back, this is Flexiteak. I think it looks great, is low maintenance, was not too hot today in the Torquay sun, and is less expensive than real teak.

Nigelpickin: yes brand new, held up by overload in the Nimbus factory in Mariestad. The W9 is apparently going well, so the bigger boats were delayed.

This is our second Nimbus. We previously had the 335, but decided we should expand and, thanks to Hurricane, SWMBO finally agreed and was OK with a flybridge!

I don't think I was the reason NoviceRod bought a flybridge but we did have him and his SWMBO on board JW last year on one of our runs across to Mallorca from Sant Carles,
I do, however, remember NoviceRod saying that his next boat would have an autopilot!!
Something, I believe, that is fitted to the new boat.

Funny, once you have had an autopilot, you "kind of" wonder how you ever managed without one.

I've just looked back in the forum to our first trip down to Torquay from the Solent in the Princess.
This was the report at the time.

Nearly 10 years ago - would you believe it - time marches on!!
Same trip though - after leaving the Hamble, it was from Lymington to Torquay.
Topped the tanks out in Lymington and again in Torquay.
I wanted to work out the fuel burn when pootling so we took longer than usual.

Many congratulations NR, she is stunning. We've been away all week so missed your arrival, I will make a point of having a look during the week. Are you on B pontoon now?

Andy - we are on one of the long (13m) fingers on C pontoon, C44. Might take family down late this afternoon if rain clears.

In that case I think I saw you come in yesterday afternoon? I was busy washing down after our week away, we're on B55 on the inside of the hammerhead, almost opposite you.
