my last copy is Oct which came ages ago now

I used to get my copy right on months end but zilch came end of last month

can anyone tell me what was on the cover of nov and dec editions. Oct was New British Beauty

Just called them and the bank DD was paid in Sept but the system not activated so no Nov/Dec post to me

Never quite sure why people still bother with paper copies. For 7 odd quid a month I get all the below plus Mrs JD gets her mags and there are a few papers as well. No weight to carry or store, if I’m flying or away I can take many hours of reading and, in the case of MBY, I’ve got every copy available since 2013. Readly does it for me

Well I’m a paper subs and I love it. The tactile experience and flicking the pages. Smell of ink. Even the anticipation of opening the envelope ?

im a bit reluctant to take the laptop into the heads. Hard copy less costly if I get over excited and drop it.

I don’t know what you’re reading but I never got quite that excited over a boat mag....

I started reading stuff on tablet when we lived abroad as it was the only way of getting English papers on the day they were published, same with magazines. Now I can’t imagine buggering about with books, magazines or newspapers, even whilst abluting (iPad mini for bathroom duty ).

I have even been known to post on various fora whilst emptying (there’s a mental picture you didn’t really need ).
