Only one permanent notice but a slurry of temporary ones:
Permanent
Three in one really - new ship anchorage at the Long Reach off Purfleet (illustration provided - new UKHO insertion block for the western end of the Yantlet Channel - shows the western crossing point for yachts - (this brand new block is distinguished as it is already amended by one of the PLA temporary notices amending the light characteristics of the West Blyth PHB to Q.Fl.R - and thirdly the insertion of the legend 'Yantlet Secondary Channel at two spots, one directionly north of the main channel and one directly south just a tad east of Holehaven Point. Must confess to not really understanding this one.
Temporary
1. Two from Great Yarmouth - one to say that the rebuilding of berths 26 and 27 is cancelled until further notice; the second warning of divers and sonar work between 25th and 29th November north of the Haven Bridge.
2. Thanet Wind Farm has put out a list of 8 Wind Turbine Generators on which the lights are unsynchronised at the moment.
3. Aggitation dredging to take place to remove silt around the remaining part of the Baffle Wall at Bradwell. The licence to do this is valid until next May and there is a 75m exclusion zone. It may be me but the lat/long coordinates on the diagram are not where the Baffle Wall is! But what do I know.
4. PLA are changing the Light characteristics on the West Blyth PHB (in t'Thames) on or around the 21st November to Q.Fl.R.
5. Three from Medway or Peel Ports: Sheet piling work in Limehouse Reach, Chatham now expected to continue until January; Gas Pipeline inspection between Gillingham Marina and Port Werburgh between 20th and 24th November; and the Ridham Dock light that was off is now on!
Of course you will all have noted the removal of Oxley and Weir buoys and the Queenborough ATL posted by others which are not yet NtM.
C'est toutes.
