1. New edition of charts 1975 (Thames Estuary, northern part) and 2692 - Sunk Inner Precautionary Area due on 14th November. These will no doubt include the changes to buoyage in the Black Deep for which you already have the CTTE publication
2. The restricted area to the west of the Ostend entrance is no longer restricted. One lit green can buoy removed. I assume the others remain in place.
3. Rather a vague temporary warning of lit and unlit yellow buoys attached to monitoring equipment between Gravesend and the Oaze.

Temporary

1. small reduction of depth on the edge of the deep water channel into Harwich - won't affect us as there is still 12.4m there at CD.

That's it.

That's it.

Thanks Roger
Question - do you still get the weekly email from the London Array folk ?
I've noticed that I no longer get one
I was expecting them to stop only once they've finished the building stage and put back the Foulger's gat buoyage

Thanks

The London Array sent out an email a month or so back saying that as they were now nearly finished they would go to monthly notices. They promptly put one out after two weeks! I think the next is due in a week or so. Their winding down is evident. the Mary Ann 1 has gone from 24/7 watch to be replaced by the Sea Weasel and Sea Ferret 'as required'. I am emailing them regarding the return of the buoyage. They said at the time of removal of the two marks that they would discuss replacement with Trinity House when it was all over so I guess that is due. In the end I suppose it will be a matter for Trinity House - and presumably London Array will have a say as they would pay for the replacement. I suppose there is the possibility of a view that says that the avenue and numbering of the turbines might be sufficient. I suppose they could have painted the bases red and green all through the avenue but I guess that's far too simple. I'll post what I get back from the Array.
