UKHO Permanent/Temporary/Preliminary
1. ENGLAND - East Coast - Note. Restricted area. Wreck. Legend. - This is a reprise of NtM 3793 last week to amend chart 3750. (New designation of Historic Wreck on the South West Barrow sands)
2. ENGLAND - South East Coast - Obstruction. Depth. - A new ‘obstn’ in Kellett Gut twixt the Goodwin Sands. But at over 14m unlikely to hinder leisure craft.
3. NETHERLANDS - Buoy. - A temporary South Cardinal Buoy established vide NtM 2759(T) earlier this year on the Kaapduinen coast, Netherlands has been moved.
4. ENGLAND - South Coast - Legends. Note. Pile. Light. Signal station. Restricted area. - Changes associated with works within Dover Harbour including a new light on the Prince of Wales Pier, a move of the SS(Traffic) to the outside of Wellington Dock and restricted areas within the Outer Harbour.
5. FRANCE - North Coast - Depths. NM Blocks. - Three new UKHO blocks to the east and west of the Calais harbour and three reduced depths – two west of Calais and one at the Le Quenocs NCB. All images are grouped in the download.

NEW PLA PUBLICATION - PORT INFORMATION GUIDE - The Port of London Authority has published a Port Information Guide which has been produced for all river users, vessel owners and operators, publishers of nautical information and any other party that needs nautical information. This guide contains an A to Z listing of key Port of London information for all Thames users. The Port Information Guide is a live document and will continuously be updated. Users are therefore encouraged, to not print or save copies of the guide for extended periods of time and always refer to our website for the latest version. For queries about this guide, please contact our Marine Compliance team: SafetyManagement@pla.co.uk Note on that link there is an app for live tide data - so, if for example you had a 'huge' keel and wanted to know the height of tide at the Spitway, log into the Walton live tide data - there is about only -0.2m height of tide at the Spitway compared to Walton.
2. Channel Deepening Dredging and Beneficial Placements - this a repeat of the thread last week - full details and iamges in the Local list on the above quoted page.
3. River Medway - Saltpan Reach – London Thamesport - Dredging Operations - dredging operations are due to take place at the London Thamesport terminal. Dredging will commence on or around 1st October 2021 and is programmed to run over six flood tide periods with completion expected on or around 4th October 2021. Operations will be focussed around the “berthing box” of Thamesport and will be carried out by the water injection dredger ‘Mersey’. ‘Mersey’ will display the required signals for respective operations by day and night. All vessels are requested to pass with caution and minimise their wash whilst dredging is in progress. London Thamesport Terminal is centred at the following approximate location: 51° 25.940 N – 000° 41.170 E
Admiralty Chart No. 1834 refers. Further information may be obtained from Medway VTS on VHF Channel 74, call sign “Medway VTS” or telephone 0151 949 6148.
4. Burnham Fairway No. 11 Lighted Buoy - the Burnham Fairway No 11 Lighted Buoy in approximate position: 51°37.430 N, 00°48.400 E Is unlit.
5. Whitaker No 4 Lighted Buoy - the Whitaker No 4 Lighted Buoy in approximate position: 51°39.757 N, 001°03.478 E Is back in operation.
6. No news of the Port of Wells!
