There are 5 UKHO notices this week affecting the area monitored; 4 of them are reductions in depth but none of them sufficiently 'low' as to hinder leisure craft:
1. Eastern side of the Gull Stream/edge of the Goodwins, four depth reductions;
2. Medway approach channel - 11.2m in the 12.5m approach channel near No 4! and another reduction just outside the channel thereabouts;
3. Approaching the Yantlet Channel, two reduced depths but not critical for us and we probably should be clear of this channel anyway!
4. Some reduced depths off Thames Haven. Again not a place for us to be.
5. Shoaling reported between the Piers at Blankenberge. No actual depth is given and I've checked back to the Belgium notices and that doesn't give any depths either. Does refer users to the MRCC at Ostend for further information.
Temporary
1. River Roach - those temporary monitoring buoys have been removed.
2. Wells harbour have announced that they have acquired a fast rib for harbour services.
