7. Harwich Harbour - Works on Trinity House Pier – Update 5 -
maintenance works on Trinity House Pier will now continue until 31 October 2025. A pontoon platform will be working around and underneath the pier during ebb tides in daylight hours, and diving operations will be taking place when the flag Alpha is displayed, mariners are requested to pass slowly at safe distance. 8. Harwich Haven - Temporary Relocation of Shotley Spit and College Buoys - the following buoys have been temporarily relocated as follows: Shotley Spit 51. 57.214’N / 001. 17.660’E 251 degrees x 50m: College 51. 57.532’N / 001. 17.297’E 230 degrees x 30m. A further notice will be issued once the buoys have been returned to their assigned positions.

9. Harwich Haven - Surveyed Depths – Halfpenny Pier, Harwich – Update 2 - See hydrographic survey extract below for latest depths at Ha’penny Pier and approaches. Best water 'inside'. Worth looking at the chartlet in the Local list on the above page if you have a deep keel.

10. Harwich Haven - Dredging and Survey Operations – Update 1 - dredging and survey operations will be taking place as follows:

➢ Porthos (Callsign: MYVS5) – is carrying out survey operations in Harwich Harbour, Felixstowe berths and the River Stour from or around 03 to 28 September 2025.

➢ MTS Valour (IMO: 9407299) – is carrying out plough dredging in Harwich Harbour, Felixstowe berths and the River Stour from or around 04 to 28 September 2025.

➢ Gateway (IMO 9448994) – is undertaking trailing suction hopper dredging operations in Harwich Harbour and Felixstowe berths from or around 11 to 26 September 2025.

11. River Medway – Saltpan Reach - BP Isle of Grain Jetty No.1 – Dredging Operations - are due to take place at BP Isle of Grain Jetty No.1, dredging is due to commence on or around 22nd September 2025 with a projected completion date of 22nd October 2025. All dredging will be carried out by the water injection dredger ‘Aquadelta’ who will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 74 at all times and display the required signals for respective operations by day and night. All vessels passing Isle of Grain Jetty No.1 during the dredging period are requested to navigate with caution reducing speed and wash accordingly.

12. River Medway – Chatham Reach - Euro Wharf – Diving Operations - diving operations will be taking place at Euro Wharf in Chatham Reach. Diving to safely remove legacy sheet piling along the face of the upper section of the quay is due to commence 8th September 2025 with completion expected by 1st October 2025. Diver access and egress will be via man-basket suspended from a shore crane with a second crane being utilised to remove the sections of sheet piling as they are cut off, a safety boat will be on standby during dive periods. All vessels passing Euro Wharf are requested to navigate with extreme caution, maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 74 and reduce speed/wash accordingly. 13. London Array Offshore Wind Farm (Outer Thames Estuary) - Jack Up Operations Ziton Wind Server- will be on site carrying out main component exchange works at various locations throughout London Array wind farm. The vessel will be on site approximately from the 23/10/2025 until the 05/12/2025. Jack-Up Vessel: Wind Server has a length of 79.6m, breadth of 32.2m with a draft of 7.4m. Equipment will be periodically deployed and suspended from the vessel crane during jack up operations. A 500m radius restricted zone will be in place, centred on the Ziton Wind Server whilst pinned on location. If access is required to this zone for non-project vessel traffic, authorisation must be requested from the vessel master.
