1. NETHERLANDS - Buoyage. - New buoyage marking the Borssele Wind Farm Passage. A formal passage exists through the Wind Farm permitting vessel up to 45m. The passage leads from the North Hinder junction south-east towards the Dutch Walcheren coast. A code of ‘conduct for safe passage’ is available for download here: Notices to Mariners
2. ENGLAND - East Coast - Foul. - Removal of the FOUL just west of the Sea Reach No 7 North special buoy.

1. This was mentioned before on the Forum - RIVER MEDWAY – Approaches to Sheerness, Garrison Point – SD.10 – Installation of Mooring Buoy - a new mooring buoy has now been laid off of the Downstream end of Sheerness No.10 berth in the following approximate position : - 51° 26.966’ N – 000° 44.884’E. The mooring buoy will be utilised by Ro-Ro vessels berthing on SD.10, when alongside, the ship’s mooring lines will create a hazard between the buoy and the vessel. When the berth is not in use the mooring lines will run from the buoy to the berth and be made fast on the downstream dolphin, whilst the ropes are in the water they will be made more conspicuous by coloured marker buoys. When ropes are running from the buoy to the berth, passage between the mooring buoy and downstream dolphin on SD.10 will not be possible. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of Garrison Point and NOT pass between the buoy and the end of Sheerness No.10 berth. 2. RIVER MEDWAY – MEDWAY APPROACH CHANNEL - SS RICHARD MONTGOMERY WRECK SURVEY - EGS International Ltd. will be undertaking, on behalf of the MCA and Receiver of Wreck, a detailed sonar survey of the SS Richard Montgomery wreck and have obtained permission to enter the prohibited area. The survey work will be carried out in the proximity of the wreck within the prohibited area and extend to the surrounding seabed area and a section of the dredged shipping channel to the south of the wreck location. Marine operations will be running from around the 23rd August 2021 with expected completion by the 27th August 2021 (weather dependant). The work will be carried out from the vessel EGS Watchful (MMSI 232006596; Call Sign MAQK4) who will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch.74 at all times.
‘Watchful’ will undertake a detailed survey of the entire wreck and the immediate adjacent seabed within the area defined as a polygon bounded by the following coordinates:

51˚ 28.254 09 N - 000˚ 46.75512' E
51˚ 28.23601' N - 000˚ 47.47680' E
51 ˚ 27.73201' N - 000˚ 47.43138' E
Please be advised that during survey operations the vessel will be restricted in it’s ability to manoeuvre and other vessels are requested to pass with caution and minimise their wash. During survey operations the vessel will display the appropriate day shapes/signals and lights as required by the IRPCS.
3. Blakeney Harbour - Vessels entering Blakeney Harbour should note the following new pilotage information: Hijordis east starboard lateral mark has moved to 52 degrees 58.951N, 0 degrees 58.206E. The outer port lateral mark has been removed from the channel and will remain off station until further notice. Care MUST still be taken when entering Blakeney harbour. The wreck of the Hijordis is currently in the channel. Vessels are not advised to enter or leave 2hrs before high water or 2hrs after high water. When entering Blakeney Harbour from the fairway mark follow a heading of 213 degrees towards Hijordis East Starboard Lateral mark Fl.G 2s leave isolated danger beacon Fl(2) 5s to starboard.
4. RAMSGATE ROYAL HARBOUR, PORT REAR LEAD LIGHT - the rear lead light for the Ramsgate Approaches is unlit. Caution should be exercised when using the channel at night. Mariners are requested to seek advice from Port Control on Ch.14 before entering or departing the Royal Harbour.
5. London Array Wind Farm has a 1250 metre exclusion zone for cable repairs but that is 'in field' and away from Foulger's Gat.
