2. Thames Estuary - Black Deep - Neuconnect Cable Lay Operations - from approximately 12th July 2025 onwards, contractors instructed by the Neuconnect installation consortium will commence cable laying works along the intended Neuconnect cable lay route in the Black Deep Channel, starting at approximately Kilometre Point (KP) 56 and running outward. These works will be carried out by vessel LEONARDO DA VINCI (IMO 9857315) and consist of cable installation by simultaneous lay and burial. LEONARDO DA VINCI will be operating in DP2 and will be connected to the cable as it is laid. LEONARDO DA VINCI will display appropriate lights, shapes and signals in accordance with IRPCS. Small craft, such as workboats, may be in attendance to support these operations in proximity to LEONARDO DA VINCI.
Vessels are requested to pass LEONARDO DA VINCI, and any associated vessels, at a safe distance, having regard to their wash effects and the nature of the cable lay operations. In the interests of navigational safety, vessel movements in the vicinity of these works may be subject to traffic management by London VTS as required. The following diagrams illustrate the Neuconnect cable route, the KP number points and a 250m buffer zone either side of the route shaded in yellow. These works are expected to be completed no later than 31st August 2025. However, in case of works overrunning beyond this date, this Notice will remain published with its expiry date extended as necessary until these works are completed. 5. Sheerness Harbour – Downstream SD11 Berth Diving and Heavy Lift Operations - work to remove an unsafe turning pile at the downstream end of Sheerness No.11 berth will take place week commencing 14th July 2025. The crane barge “GPS Boxer” will be towed into the approximate position shown on Tuesday 15th July at 07:00 where it will remain for 4 – 5 days. Preparatory work, which includes diving operations, will take place prior to the final lifting and removal of the pile. “GPS Boxer” and associated safety craft will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 74 at all times and update Medway VTS with any requests for navigational safety broadcasts. All vessels passing Sheerness Harbour should navigate with extreme caution, reduce speed and wash and maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 74 at all times.
6. EAST ANGLIA THREE (Wind Farm) - Export Cable Guard Vessel Deployment - NKT will be deploying Guard Vessels along the East Anglia THREE Offshore Export Cable Corridor (as in image) for protection of the pre lay mattresses and to protect the cable bundle from the start of cable lay until the cable is adequately protected by means of trenching or rock placement. All Marine traffic is advised to exercise caution when the vessels are operating in the locations. The primary purpose of the guard vessels is to protect the exposed cable along the Export Cable corridor by monitoring and issuing warnings to marine traffic operating within 6Nm of the construction area with a Closest Point of Approach (CPA) < 1.5Nm. More specifically, the focus will be on those vessels with potential to be engaging in bottom contact activities such as fishing and anchoring, as these activities pose a risk not only to the exposed cable bundle but also to the vessels themselves. The guard vessels will be clearly marked and display a highly visible "GUARD" sign on each side. Exchange of vessels on site will ensure the relevant section of cable is never left unguarded. In sections where cable protection has been completed, guard vessels will be released and sections will be opened up for fishing or use of other equipment with seabed intervention. This may not necessarily be in a sequential order from shoreside outwards. The vessels will operate 24/7, in all but extreme weather. Approximately 7 guard vessels will be used in the period from 20/05/2025 until completion. Durations at each location will depend on progress of the cable installation, trenching and rock placement operations. Not all the vessels are expected to be used concurrently. Any changes of the guard Vessels and completion of works will be notified via future Notice to Mariners. All vessels are required to monitor VHF Channel 16 and VHF DSC Channel 70 continuously throughout the operation. The weekly report indicates works near to Bawdsey.
7. London Array Wind Farm - ROV Survey Operations -

mariners are advised that the work vessel “Admiral P” will be onsite from 17th July 2025 to 3rd September 2025, conducting ROV Survey Operations at various locations throughout the London Array Offshore Wind Farm (Outer Thames Estuary). Vessel: Admiral P, Call Sign: 2FVD7, MMSI: 235094496, Length: 18m, Breadth: 6m, Draft: 1m - A 500-metre radius restricted zone will be established around the vessel Admiral P while operating within the wind farm. Access Restrictions: Non-project vessels requiring access to this zone must obtain prior authorisation from the vessel master.

That's it.

With regards to Item 6, any chance someone could persuade the guard ship Resilient to turn down the power on his transmissions on Ch 16? I heard them very loudly in the Walton Backwaters whilst enjoying the 'peace'.
