1. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. -
One depth of reduction in the approaches to Lowestoft. At 3.9m CD unlikely to hinder leisure craft. The new sounding is arrowed in the image and two other reductions in that area refer to NtM 1798/2022.
2. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - Four reductions of depth at the SW Barrow and Mouse No 14. The recent soundings will tell us we will be fine round the SW Barrow.
3..BELGIUM - Piles. - A pair of new piles in the commercial part of Zeebrugge harbour.

1. GRAVESEND REACH TO MOUSE CHANNEL - 2022 THAMES SAILING BARGE MATCH -
The 2022 Thames Sailing Barge Match will take place on Saturday 18th June 2022, with participating vessels congregating in Gravesend Reach prior to proceeding to the start line in Lower Hope Reach at Mucking No.3 Buoy. The start is staggered by class at the following times:
07.30am Coasting Class
07.45am Champion Staysail Class
08.00am Champion Bowsprit Class
The race, comprising of 8 sailing barges together with associated escort and official craft, will proceed eastwards to the North Oaze Buoy before turning about to return to Gravesend for the finish of the race. It should be noted that the intended route may be shortened or modified according to the prevailing weather conditions on the day. A number of the participating sailing barges are fitted with AIS transponders and the fleet is expected to comprise of the following vessels:
Blue Mermaid, Adieu, Marjorie, Niagra, Repertor, Thalatta, Cambria, and Centaur. All participating vessels will be instructed to adhere to local regulations as well as the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972. 2. River Stour - Dredging Operations: Haven Hornbill - on or about the 08 June 2022 the workboat Haven Hornbill will commence plough dredging in the harbour, for a period of approximately two weeks. The Haven Hornbill is expected to be initially working near Mistley and then moving to Felixstowe berths. Detailed vessel movements can be obtained from Harwich VTS on VHF channel 71.
3. Lowestoft Southern Approaches – Exposed Subsea Cable Position - the single orange marker buoy deployed at a section of subsea cable off Pakefield detailed in the previous NTM No. 24-2022, has now been removed. The subsea cable is still exposed along the route as shown (see the Local List on Notices to Mariners. Fishing, dredging, anchoring and all other sea bed activities are prohibited 500m North and South of this line/route. The guard vessels Shannon and CRC Loadstar are currently in the vicinity and are monitoring VHF ch 14 and 16.
4. River Crouch - less water has been reported inside Buxey No 2 Lighted buoy in position: 51°39.076 N 001°00.234 E. Mariners are advised to navigate outside of the Fairway in this area with extreme caution.
5. Blakeney Harbour - Oyster Farm - be aware of the established oyster farm to the east of Stiffkey freshes. The farm is now marked by a large buoy labelled oyster farm and care should be taken when navigating close to the area.
6. Port of Ramsgate - the Grab Dredger ‘Wyre Sand’ will be undertaking a capital dredging campaign in the Commercial Port, around berth 4 and 5, commencing 13th June 2022, for up to 4 weeks. The dredger will be monitoring VHF Ch.14 Vessels are requested to pass at low speed.
