Glad most weeks are not like this one! A lot to do.

Permanent

1. Belgium - the Flemish Banks. A preliminary notice giving 11 new reduced depths 'in siginificant places'. In fact, 10 were in another preliminary notice back in week 12 and so there is only one 'new' reduced depth which is a depth of 3.1m on the Middlekerke Bank off Ostende;
2. Kentish flats Wind Farm - notice of the three new cardinal buoys and the extension of the wind farm limits to include the current building work on the extension. Image provided;
3. Approaches from the north to Vlissingen via the channel off Kaapduinen - two notices here which I have put together as the first a full notice gives details of buoy moves on the west side of the channel, and the second notice (a temporary notice) gives details of moves to buoyage on the east side. The image provided shows all the changes in one image;
4. Kentish Flats again - the Pan Sand - a new drying height and some reduced depths;
5. The Wash - the approach channel to Boston - some buoy moves;
6. Belgium again - three obstructions/fouls but at depths that mean they should not trouble leisure craft (incidentally reading through Belgium and Dutch notices - as you do - it is amazing how many anchors are lost in the designated anchorages. Must be a postive minefield of snags);
7. And then while I was reading the Belgium notices (really trying to work out the fist notices in this list), I came upon two that might interest peeps going to Nieuwpoort - a yellow special buoy to the west of the harbour entracne (a yachting mark) and two yellow special buoys within the harbour (the KYCN side) marking shoals.

Temporary

1. A Jack-up barge is going to be working in the Greater Gabbard wind farm - a 500m exclusion zone around it. There until 14th June;
2. Harwich Harbour - the Fort buoy is back in its proper position;
3. Medway - just downstream of the M20 bridge - a large tree root which was obstructing the navigable channel no longer is obstructing it!
4. Sheerness Outfall north cardinal buoy is back on station and Peel Ports are grateful for notifications of buoys out of position - "Vigilant reporting of defects and hazards on the River Medway and The Swale is very much appreciated. We hope that this positive reporting and support from river users will be continued";
5. River Crouch - Four temporary small yellow monitoring buoys placed in the Crouch and Roach to do with the seawall breaching in July. the buoys should be placed in position starting 3rd June. I haven't done an image of their position yet but since the forecast for the morning is rubbish, I will have a go then and add it asap.

That's it :ambivalence:

The info about Niuewpoort is most timely, assuming we ever leave that is!!!! (Not even keen to leave the cabin right now, let alone the port!)

Image added to illustrate the Crouch HM's notice no 25 - and while I was at it I did the Upper Roach buoyage (back in week 23). Now its 8am, sailing doesn't seem a good idea today, can't varnish in this wind, the garden is threatening! Eek!
