1. ENGLAND - East Coast - Fog signal. -
Change of Fog characteristics from Whis to Bell at the South Knock south cardinal buoy (at the south-east corner of the London Array Wind Farm and marking the south end of the Kentish Knock).
2. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - A revised depth right on the Deep Water track entering the Black Deep. Unlikely to hinder leisure craft.

Local

1. RIVER THAMES -
YANTLET CHANNEL - SHELL HAVEN - DIVING OPERATIONS - On or around 24th May 2021, daily diving operations will commence at Shell Haven for a period of approximately 3 weeks. Diving operations will take place from the vessel FORTITUDE, which will be moored alongside the jetty. Operations will be timed around tidal windows, and any request to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made by London VTS on channel 68 in accordance with port-wide Notice to Mariners 08/2021. The vessel should display International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee (RY)’ and ‘Alpha (A)’ as appropriate.
2. HARWICH HARBOUR - Maintenance Dredging - the dredger Njord R (111.30m LOA) will commence maintenance dredging on the 30th of May 2021 within the Haven for approximately 4 weeks. The Duke of Normandy (26.26m LOA) will commence plough maintenance dredging on the 28th of May 2021 within the Haven for approximately 4 weeks. Detailed movements can be obtained from Harwich VTS on VHF Channel 71. Dates are approximate and subject to alteration.
3. Lowestoft - Outer Harbour – Inner North / Trawl Dock Entrance– Navigation light - Unlit - the navigation light on the Inner North / west entrance of Trawl Basin, light characteristic 2F.Y(Vert.), is unlit.
A notice will be issued when this light is restored.
4. Navigation Restriction - Powerboat Racing at Oulton Broad - vessels may be temporarily restricted and regulated in their movement near the powerboat racing circuit at Oulton Broad during the 2021 summer season. Where necessary patrol boats will supervise transit between races. Please take note of advice given by officials. Specific dates for racing are listed in the Local List at: Notices to Mariners
5. Special mark Turntide Jetty, Breydon, Norfolk Broads - from the 21st May 2021 a special mark in the form of a yellow post has been installed at the downstream end of Turntide jetty. This post marks the confluence of the River Waveney and River Yare to indicate where vessels need to turn to remain in the channel. A link to a chartet is on the Local List as above.

Wells is not dredging AGAIN!

Not a very exciting week ..... and that is good.
