Quiet week this week.
Permanent
1. Deletion of chart marking showing the direction of traffic flow in the North Hinder South TSS (near the Fairey Bank)
2. Formal notification of the movement by Trinity House of the Orford and Woodbridge Havens as posted at the end of last week
Temporary
1. A PLA notice that the third power cable from the East Swale to the London Array Wind Farm will start to be laid from the 1st June with an expected arrival at the Princes Channel on 20th/21st June. This means that we can expect closure of Fisherman's Gat a few days later. I regret the qulaity of the image supplied with the notice is not the best quality but it looks like this will be laid to Sub Station 2 in the Knock Deep and not to Sub Station 1 in Foulger's Gat so although passage will be interrupted while it passes the end of the avenue which is now Foulger's, this cable laying may not in itself close the Gat. We will see!
2. The London Array work schedule for this week is not yet published. Since I was out at 4.30am heading for the Buxey I shall leave this for tonight and catch up with it in the morning.
3. Dartford Tidal Barrier to be closed May to September for repair work.
4. Flood Defence Wall rebuilding in the River Yare at Great Yarmouth.
That's it. Update on the London Array as soon as received.
