UKHO and Trinity House Permanent/Temporary/Preliminary Notices

1. ENGLAND - East Coast - Buoyage. -
The lit Safe Water buoy ‘Nene Roads’ has been moved to the west to show the ‘new’ approaches into Wisbech using the western side of the Outer Westmark Knock.
2. BELGIUM - Buoy. - A new lit Yellow Special Buoy in Belgium waters north of Fairy Bank and west of the Oosthinder.
3. EAST COAST OF ENGLAND -MIDDLE CROSS SAND - EAST CROSS SAND LIGHTED BUOY - A change of shape of the ATON at the East Cross Sand lighted buoy (east of the Middle Cross Sand off Great Yarmouth). The simple red can has been changed to a pillar buoy with red can topmark.

1. River Thames - Greenwich Reach - Old Royal Naval College: Fireworks Display & Temporary River Closure -
on Sunday 5th April 2026, a private fireworks display will be held in the vicinity of the Royal Naval College, Greenwich Reach. The fireworks are due to begin at approximately 21:45 and will
last for approximately 5 minutes. For the duration of the fireworks display, a river closure as depicted in the chart below will be enforced starting from 21:30, between, a line drawn from the upstream end of Greenwich Pier on the South Bank to Livingstone Wharf on the north bank, to a line drawn from the upstream end of Greenwich Power Station Pier on the Southbank to Newcastle Draw Dock on the north bank. The river will be reopened at approximately 21:50 after completion of the fireworks display. Enforcement of river closure will be undertaken by two PLA Harbour Service Launches which will be
positioned at either end of the river closure, displaying blue flashing lights. Contact can be made with traffic control on VHF Channel 14, calling ‘GREENWICH CONTROL’. While the Exclusion Zone is in force, no vessels are permitted to enter, and manned vessels must not remain within, the Exclusion Zone with the exception of emergency services vessels responding to an incident and vessels engaged in fireworks operations which include tug HAVEN SUPPORTER and barge MH125. Further information will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14.
2. Pipe Recovered in Copperas Bay, River Stour - Mariners are advised that the pipe deployment in Copperas Bay (as detailed in local notice to mariners 2026-20), has been recovered to the shoreline, above mean high water springs.
3. London Array Offshore Wind Farm - 24hr Jack Up Operations Ziton Wind Pioneer - Revised dates - the Jack-up Vessel Wind Pioneer and Support Tugs Sea Juliett, Wil S and GPS Avenger provided by Ziton, will be on site conducting main component exchange works. The vessels are expected to be onsite from the 25th of March 2026 for a minimum of 34 days, they will remain onsite except for Port Calls as required for vessel stores and equipment. Jack-up Vessel: Wind Pioneer Jack-Up Vessel Wind Pioneer has a length of 57m, breadth of 28m with a draft of 5.2m Equipment will be periodically deployed and suspended from the vessel crane during jack up operations. Support Tug: Sea Juliett - has a length of 32.27m with a beam of 9.1m and will be engaged in towing the Jack-up Wind Pioneer to site, then remain on standby at anchor outside London Array offshore Wind farm. Support Tug: Wil S. - has a length of 32.27m with a beam of 9.1m and will be engaged in towing the Jack-up Wind Pioneer to site, then remain on standby at anchor outside London Array offshore Wind farm. Support Tug: GPS Avenger - has a length of 27.02m with a beam of 9.1m and will be engaged in towing the Jack-up Wind Pioneer to site, then remain on standby at anchor outside London Array offshore Wind farm.
A 500m radius restricted zone will be in place, centred on the Wind Pioneer whilst pinned on location. If access is required to this zone for non-project vessel traffic, authorisation must be requested from the vessel master.
