As I said last week, I am away and don't trust the laptop to load up all the Hyperlinks to images correctly - its a directory structure issue. But here are the words. Fortunately a quiet week.

Permanent Notices (UKHO etc)

1. Notice that new editions of Charts 1534 and 1535 (Approaches to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft respectively) will be issued on 15th March. These will incorporate the survey results that lead to the Preliminary Notice (163(P)/12) earlier this year which talked of substantial changes to the off-lying sands. It is too early to know if this will require substantial changes to leisure charts but CTTE will endeavour to keep you informed as information becomes available.
2. A correction notice regarding the limits of the London Array Wind Farm. It brings the marking on Admiralty charts into line with the construction limits we have already been used to. So nothing of concern in that regard.
3. River Thames, near Mucking No 3 buoy, new depth of 8.6m (opposite side of the channel to the small craft channel) and 6.2m near the Lower Hope. Neither should affect small craft users.
4. Wreck of the Crebe at West Mersea adjacent to the Nass Beacon. Depth by sounding is now said to be 0.6m and not 2.2m as formerly believed. I will be amending the CTTE chart as soon as possible but will not be able to upload it until 19th March.
Temporary Notices
1 Approaches to Harwich Harbour; a waverider buoy is being placed on or about 7th March very close to the Felixstowe Ledge Buoy. It will be yellow Fl Y (5) 20s and will remain on station until April.
2 London Array Wind Farm: they have not posted this week’s work. We can assume continued work near Foulger’s Gat. The Cable Laying ship, Stemat Spirit is north of the Prince’s Channel near the Princes North so closure of the Fisherman’s Gat could happen towards the end of this week or next week.

Don't suppose you want to know that at 20 degrees south here it is a glorious morning, 25 degrees at 7am. The lobster fishermen are servicing their pots and the reef is calm.:D
