Yes, thanks. I had been trying that and nothing was happening but to only one of the pages. The other ones had updated that the 'front' one no. But now it has happened. Bit odd - or perhaps it is me. Anyway it's there. Ta ever so, thanks.

Ah. A very good question. There is no answer in the NtM which in fairness is a technical chart correction as it stands the time the NtM was written - certainly there is no preliminary NtM at the moment up to tonight. I had wondered if the West Quern might change to a North Cardinal but actually the logic (I think) is that anybody going north/south or ditto should keep west of the West Quern and B2 starboard hand buoy and going east/west or ditto from Pegwell Bay well north of the West Quern. There are, of course, a pattern of seasonal buoys for the Ramsgate racers; one hopes they now know not to cut between the Cross Ledge and Quern. Or keeps pretty close south of the West Quern. I note the dangerous wreck is pretty much over a sounding of 1.3m CD.

That's actually the long-standing advice anyway, before this wreck appeared. Anyone know what it is and if it's proposed to do something about removing it!
