Another quiet week:
UKHO Permanent
1. Chart 1185 International Chart Series, England - East Coast, River Thames, Sea Reach to be published on 8th September, 2016;
2. East Coast - Great Yarmouth - River Yare - Lights. - this was originally a local Port of Yarmouth NtM. Seven new nav lights alongside the River Yare;
3. FRANCE - North Coast - Banc Smal W - Depth - looks like a correction 8.6m being replaced by 18.6. In the unmarked channel above and parallel with the buoyed Rade de Dunkereque;
4. BELGIUM - Gootebank NE, Westpit and Bol van Knokke Temporary NtM - Fouls. - you'll like these. There are three foul areas to avoid fishing and anchoring because of explosive material. First one is in the Mine Laying Practice Area - quelle surprises; Second one lies right alongside a Belgium Gas pipeline ! Both those two are 20m plus so not likely to hinder leisure craft. Third one is just north of the edge of the Scheur channel just off Dunkerque - not too deep. Best don't anchor there.
Temporary
1. Lowestoft - a ex-survey vessel starting to be scrapped and this will obstruct part of the Inner Harbour to the extent of 5m! Lights for night time to warn craft.
Usual visual clues can be found: http://www.crossingthethamesestuary.com/page9.html
Whoops, sorry - Port of Wells still dredging.
