I thought Miromar (Miramar?) was well west of St Tropez?

No way, a photo always flattens the sea. Surely that proves that in a F8 with 8 m waves your Beneteau flattens the water?

Yes, iirc port was called Miramar until it went bust about 20 ? years ago. Hotel Miramar is the hotel / resto 200 metres East.

Unfortunately by the time I’d anchored the ski boats had churned up the water as you can see!

Yes the ports called Figuerrette , but folks call the beach area Miramar and yes over the years many a bust hotel has been redeveloped usually apartments .
Anyways as said sand , restaurants etc ,it’s quite sheltered from W winds and E winds if you tuck close in .
Just makes a change from sardine packed Lérins .
The sailing school hires SUP s hobbie cats etc + there’s a jet ski hire place - sort of handy for guests.

No it's only a few mins away from our home port .
Eaten at the restaurants a few times .
Just makes a change from the packed lerins . .

Just worked out in May ( 2019) I've only had 6 nights NOT on the boat and been to St Trop 2 x and racked up 20 hrs and spent € 2200. On fuel bombing about - hey how . .
