Went out today briefly to give the props and botty a clean off. Daughter had the camera with a view to clinching the competion. Sadly not to be. Her efforts to hold the camera steady can be seen here:

Note to self: Damo saying it's pretty flat out there may not be consistent with my definition of pretty flat. In fairness apparently the wind picked up between booking the lock and actually getting out
 
We just wizzed up and down between Portishead and Avonmouth and it wasn't too bad, probably 2-3 ft. However we started heading off round west round Portishead point and that was much bigger. Wind was about 25knts while we were out
 
Yep, been there done that. Still I quite like just being able to go abit faster if I want to go somewhere against the tide - better than not going at all
 
Yes it was a real buzz - and confidence boost: That was the windiest we have got her back on the berth and it was no problem at all.

We are intending to stay in till April and do the servicing/antifoul thing then. Hopefully it will be a tad warmer. Hoping for some nice high pressure over xmas and maybe we will do a mini cruise somewhere.
