The answer to these quizzes is usually "somewhere cold and with midges" so for us who sail closer to civilisation...these rocks share a name with the bay they protect on one side...

Looks dangerous - the earth is tipping to one side. Where's viago, we need him to make it flat again.
 
Well done. Of course I see why the answer to these is usually "Is it somewhere in scotland?": As Quandary suggests we don't have a huge range of hideaways on the south cost to choose from (and everyone probably knows most of them).


Lovely anchorage though and okay even with a bit of S in the wind, but Mupe Rocks only properly block the waves in neapy conditions. Also worth checking the Gunnery times to avoid an early morning wake-up call from the Range Range boat!

We were last there one August so ranges closed and settled weather. Yes a bit rolly (despite the calm weather, can't recall tides) and weed meant 2 goes at setting the anchor but we spent a couple of lovely days there.
