HI all

It was a beautifull suuny day, but as the wind was a tad strong for our sort of boating, we went to just potter around in the car with Mr and Mrs Seagoon, and look into a harbour or two.

Guess what we found

Can you put a full name to it in the right order please.?

But here are a few more pix of Peel harbour even though all the pontoons have been in the water for some time now, I’m wondering why the boats are still all alongside the walls!!!! After all they are over subscribed since before the marina was built.

And don't you just wish you were here, lazing on such a sunny beach/

Is the marina completely finished, it may have some OH&S issue, or it may be just too expensive. I would have thought berthage to be of premium status over there. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I understand that the berths were and are oversubscribed from day one, and the charges would be the same as Doglas, because it's the Harbour Board that owns it, not private, and as Douglas is now overfull, it may be that there are some H ans S issues to be solved, or perhjaps the cement isn't dry yet.....LOL
The craft is a LCT (landing craft tank), in this case single as it can carry one challenger tank. The crew chappie said it had to be loaded fast as the ramp is barely strong enough....

so there you are., I await seeing the pontoons filled up soon.

Cheers

Drew.
