Not Jester Challenge, Not OSTAR

I couldnt make the start on 8 May, so I left on the 29 May. Arriving in Newort on 15 July. Newport Yachtclub was full so anchored at Ida Lewis
anchorge and was hosted by Ida Lewis Yacht Club. They were very accomodating and everyone wanted to buy me drinksand take me shopping. They seemed impressed that I had made it in a Folk Boat. Very pleased with myself for completing th challenge and getting back to the Baltic.

Hard enough getting there, but knowing that you have got to turn round & do it all again, to get home must be really hard. There is no packing up after a couple of hundred miles; because in this direction home is at the opposite end of the trip; not the start.

The trip back onlytook 5 weeks. Worse weather by a factor of 5-10 m/s but it was from either SW or NW and the current and waves are going the same way. Easier to come back than go over.
